삼십대 중반의 미혼인 김기사. 주변사람들은 김기사의 결혼사에 대해 관심이 많지만 정작 본인은 별 관심이 없다. 경제적 사정과 성격 차이로 별거를 하고 있는 인쇄소 직원 은실. 그녀에게는 작은 딸에 대한 생각 때문에 자신이 원하는 이혼을 망설이고 있다. 어느 날 인쇄소를 놀러 온 딸아이를 잃어버리게 되고……. (Kim is in his mid-30s and he is single. People around him concern about his marriage, but he is not interested in getting married. Eun-sil works in a same printing store with Kim. She is estranged with her husband. She wants a divorce but she is hesitant because of her little daughter. One day, her daughter visits the printing store but then she disappears….연출의도. 어디건 사람살이는 마찬가지이다. 사랑하고 결혼하고 증오하고 살아가고……. 그건 30대가 된 후에도 그렇다. 여기 인쇄소 안에서 일하는 두 사람이 있다. 각자 자신들의 고민을 안고 살지만 두 사람은 점점 가까워지고 있다. 아직은 사랑은 아니지만……. 결국 우리는 다른 삶을 꿈꾸고 있다.
